Sandi: I will Learn Tokyo Olympics 2020 Preparation in Japan

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno will visit Japan to learn preparation for Tokyo Olympics 2020.

According to plan, I will depart next week

According to him, he wants to know about policies that could be implemented in Jakarta for Asian Games XVIII. Including local government policy whether to dismiss the school and change working hours during the event or not.

"I want to know about policies taken by local government to succeed that event. According to plan, I will depart next week," he mentioned, Tuesday (2/6).

Sandi Wants to Hold FJGS 2018 Simultaneously With Asian Games

He side has asked Jakarta Education Dept. to analyze about school holiday policy related to Asian Games event in August.

"We will decide all schools in Jakarta will be off at once or per region. Students will also be given task to make report about Asian Games or create a creative product," he conveyed.

He added, Jakarta Provincial Government will do athlete's trip simulation from Kampung Atlet in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta to several venues. Thus his side could ensure its travel time.

"Simulation result will help to decide if school holiday policy or working hour change policy is needed to be applied or not," he said.
